Built for consignment

Listing software for consignment shops

You accept dozens of items a week from dozens of consignors. Writing individual listings by hand is the bottleneck. SnapWand turns photos into complete, ready-to-post listings in under 60 seconds — so your floor staff can process a rack of clothes, a shelf of electronics, or an entire estate intake in an afternoon.

Sound familiar?

The problems that slow down Consignment shops are the ones SnapWand is built to solve.

Listing intake takes longer than sorting intake

A consignor drops off 40 items. You price them in an hour. Then your team spends the rest of the day writing titles and descriptions, one item at a time. The floor piles up while the back office falls behind.

Consignor reporting requires consistent data you do not always have

Monthly statements to consignors need accurate item descriptions, sale prices, and fees. When listings are typed by whoever was on shift, the data is inconsistent — and reconciling it is a second job.

Cross-posting to Poshmark, eBay, Facebook, and your own shop is manual

Consignment shops that sell on multiple platforms know the pain: list it once, then re-type it everywhere else. Three marketplaces means three times the work before anything even goes live.

Pricing vintage and mixed-category items takes expertise you cannot always staff for

Clothing, electronics, furniture, jewellery — consignment shops carry everything. Pricing accurately across all categories requires research that casual staff cannot do quickly, so items go out too cheap or sit unsold because they were priced too high.

Seasonal cash flow spikes when you get estate intake, but staffing cannot flex that fast

An estate family brings in 200 items on a Friday. You need them live before the weekend. With manual listing, that's a all-hands crisis. With bulk processing, it's a normal afternoon.

How it works

Your team's day-to-day with SnapWand — from intake photo to live listing.

1

Photograph each item at intake

Your intake staff takes 2–3 photos per item on a plain surface. No lighting setup, no editing — SnapWand works with phone camera shots.

2

Upload in a single batch

Upload up to 50 items per batch on the Business plan (100 on Enterprise). SnapWand generates a complete listing — title, description, price estimate, and selling tips — for every item in parallel.

3

Review, assign to consignor, and approve

Your team reviews the generated listings in a queue, assigns each to the correct consignor, and confirms the price. The split percentage is pulled from the consignor record — no manual calculation. Two minutes per item, not twenty.

4

Cross-post to your active channels

Use the built-in cross-poster to push each approved listing to eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark, and your shop — one click, all platforms. You don't retype a word.

5

Generate payout statements at month end

Select a consignor and a date range. SnapWand pulls all their sold items, calculates each split, and produces a signed PDF statement. Download it, email it to the consignor, and mark it paid — the ledger closes in under 2 minutes.

6

Handle buyer messages without guessing

When a buyer asks "is this still available?" or sends a lowball offer, SnapWand suggests a reply. Scam detection flags suspicious messages automatically — before your staff engages.

Features built for Consignment shops

Every feature is mapped to the specific needs of your operation — not a generic tool list.

Consignor management
Add consignors with their split percentage once. Every item you intake for them tracks that split automatically — no spreadsheet, no manual calculation at month end.
Payout statement generation
Generate a signed payout PDF for each consignor at the end of the month in one click — with line items, sale prices, split amounts, and your shop fee clearly broken out. Mark it paid and the ledger closes.
QuickBooks-compatible CSV export
Export your full sold inventory as a CSV any time — consignor name, item, sale price, split, cost basis, and margin — ready to import directly into QuickBooks or your accountant's spreadsheet.
Bulk listing generation
Process an entire estate intake of 50–100 items in one batch instead of one item at a time — no bottleneck at the listing desk.
Price estimator
Get a defensible price estimate for every category you carry — clothing, electronics, furniture, jewellery — based on real comparable sold listings.
Cross-poster
Push each consignment item to eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark, and Vinted simultaneously. You write the listing once — we post it everywhere you sell.
Scam detection on buyer messages
Flag suspicious buyer messages automatically. Protects your team and your consignors from overpayment fraud, fake payment confirmations, and off-platform redirect scams.

What this looks like in practice

Honest estimates based on typical operation sizes. Your results will vary by volume and category mix.

Up to 80% reduction in time spent writing individual listings — based on ~20 minutes manual vs. ~60 seconds with SnapWand per item.

Monthly consignor statements that used to take half a day to reconcile now take under 5 minutes — payout PDFs are generated automatically from the sold ledger.

Process up to 100 items per batch on the Enterprise plan — practical for full estate intakes on a single afternoon.

Staff at any skill level can generate accurate listings — no category expertise required to produce a well-priced, well-written item.

Consignment shops questions

How does consignor payout tracking work?

You add each consignor once with their name, email, and split percentage. When you mark an item sold, SnapWand calculates the consignor's share automatically. At month end, click Generate Payout — the system finds all sold items for that consignor in your date range, builds a line-item statement, and produces a downloadable PDF. Mark it paid and the ledger is closed.

Can SnapWand generate listings for mixed-category consignment — clothing, electronics, and furniture in the same batch?

Yes. SnapWand analyses the photos and identifies the item category automatically. Titles, descriptions, and price estimates are generated to fit the specific category — so a jacket and a laptop in the same batch both get appropriate, accurate listings.

Does the CSV export work with QuickBooks?

Yes — the CSV export includes columns for consignor name, item title, sale date, sale price, consignor split amount, shop fee, cost basis, and margin. The format imports directly into QuickBooks Online and Desktop, and opens cleanly in Excel or Google Sheets for accountants who prefer that workflow.

How many items can we process per batch?

The Business plan supports up to 50 items per batch. The Enterprise plan supports up to 100 items per batch. Both plans allow multiple batches per day, so a high-volume intake day is not constrained by a single batch limit.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

No contract. Business and Enterprise plans are month-to-month. You can cancel, downgrade, or change plans at the end of any billing period.
